The treatment area is numbed with a topical anesthetic. The entire procedure of injecting the Revanesse Versa takes just a few minutes. The length of time varies by the number of injections performed. Overall, it is quick and fast.
There is no downtime with Revanesse Versa. Avoid strenuous physical activity for the following 48 hours to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum. Keep alcohol consumption low or abstain entirely for the week after treatment. In a clinical trial conducted by the company, patients receiving Revanesse Versa had 50 percent less swelling than those injected with other dermal fillers. Wait at least one month after Revanesse Versa treatment before undergoing laser or other facial rejuvenation procedures in the targeted area.
