Allura Med Spa & Wellness is happy to provide UPNEEQ to patients with acquired ptosis. UPNEEQ is a prescribed, medicated eye drop to help with lifting upper eyelids. Acquired ptosis is low-lying eyelids. Low-lying lids occur when the muscles in your eyelids stretch, gradually becoming weak, leading to an upper eyelid that may seem to droop. Unfortunately, this can happen to our eyes as we age.
Am I a good Candidate for UPNEEQ?
Acquired ptosis affects adults. Over time, if you look in the mirror and feel like your upper eyelids make you look tired or they look droopy, UPNEEQ could be an option to help lift your lids. UPNEEQ is non-invasive and an option if you are not ready to have eyelid lift surgery. Certain health conditions can be affected when using UPNEEQ. Your UPNEEQ Treatment
UPNEEQ is an outpatient treatment, and the eye drops are prescribed to you by your provider at Allura.
Each day, apply one drop to each eye. Each vial can treat both eyes and should only be used once. The Boynton Beach UPNEEQ eye drop triggers the Mueller’s muscle, the muscle that raises your eyelid. This muscle shrinks in size when the drops are used, allowing your eyelids to lift.

Eyelid lift surgery brings more permanent results, whereas UPNEEQ’s results are temporary. UPNEEQ treats acquired ptosis. For genetic droopy lids, eyelid lift surgery may be more suitable.
